Saxilby Golf Society Chairman had rather a shock when at the Lincoln Golf Club the other week.
Having been a member for 28 years the board competitions that had eluded him came good when he won the Rita Broughton Trophy in 2025. The sign writer when doing the Honours Board inadvertently put Mrs G Flint up on the board as the 2025 winner.
While it caused hilarity in the clubhouse Graham was keen to get the error corrected.
We are pleased to say a happy ending occurred when the sign writer returned to correct the error.
Congratulations to Graham on his win.
Also to Society Member Lee Hayward who won the Hospital Cup in 2025. Needless to say his name was put up correctly.
